The construction of an ultramodern Nakuru Level Five Hospital Cancer Centre will be completed in December next year.
The Sh500 million project, which is being implemented by the county government, will be equipped to handle increasing cancer cases in the country.
According to the County Chief Officer for Public Health Samuel King’ori, once operational, the facility will attend to patients from Rift Valley and neighbouring counties instead of them travelling to Nairobi and foreign countries to seek medical attention.
