The Nairobi Hospital announces Dr. Wilfred Irungu Ndirangu, a healthcare practitioner specializing in Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), as the new chairm of the board of directors.
According to a press statement sent by Kenya Hospital Association (KHA), owners of the Nairobi’s premier health facility said the changes were made following an extra ordinary general meeting.
“In line with the Companies Act No. 17 of 2015, KHA has reconstituted its board following an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held at The Nairobi Hospital on 27th November 2019,” the statement read in part.
Dr. Chris M.N Bichage will serve as the board Vice Chairman.
Also appointed to the board are: Dr. Stephen Ochiel, Mr. Victor Opiyo Misenda, Mr. Charles Kariuki Wambugu, Eng. Maxwell O. Odongo, Mr. Robert Shaw and Amb. Charles Amira.
KHA said the new board will continue with the tradition of ensuring that the hospital remains the leading healthcare institution in the region; providing world-class treatment and service.
The new board will serve until the next Annual General Meeting upon which they will be eligible to offer themselves for re-election, the statement adds.
