Kenya on Thursday recorded 183 new cases of coronavirus after 4.188 samples were tested, Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi has announced.
This now raises the country’s total tally to 36,576.
The number of fatalities rose to 642 after another five patients succumbed to the virus.
The cases are distributed in Nairobi 54, Kisumu 26, Mombasa 20, Kisii seven Turkana five, Siaya three and Samburu two cases.
Another 82 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country so far to 23,611.
