The Ministry of Health announced today advancement of international relations in the health sector through a mutually beneficial collaboration with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) which will see 2500 nurses of different cadres employed to enhance health services in Saudi Arabia.

According to a press release, President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, spearheaded the effort, receiving a job order from Abdal Human Resources Company in Riyadh, the designated recruitment agency in KSA.

“Following a thorough and competitive evaluation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has identified two reputable Private Recruitment Agencies in Kenya to manage this significant endeavor, the press statement read in part adding that “FAST RELIABLE Enterprises and NASMAMA SERVICES LTD have been selected based on their outstanding track record, capacity to ensure appropriate matching of skills with requirement and commitment to expediting the selection and deployment process.’

The applicants will be requested to share the following documentation when applying for the jobs.

“A complete CV, detailing age, weight and height. Complete record of your educational background, including verified copies of diploma certificates and/or nursing degree. valid nursing council license certificate.”

Additionally, the applicants will also be required to present a certificate demonstrating work experience acquired after passing licensing examinations and other certifications for any medical training undertaken, if applicable, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Records of any attended symposiums and a copy of the applicant’s passport if available.

“The above details will ensure that the selection process aligns with the healthcare standards and requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming our dedication to providing highly qualified professionals,” the statement reads in part.”

It adds that “The Government places paramount importance on providing a safe work environment for Kenyans. All shortlisted recruitees will be informed of the interview dates, and successful candidates will receive pre-deployment training and facilitation in processing the required travel documents.”

The initiative not only attests to the global recognition of the Kenyan healthcare workforce but also serves as a bridge to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Kenya and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ministry of health statement said.

“The Government of Kenya is committed to supporting all candidates through this process and facilitating the cultural exchange and professional development resulting from this opportunity.”

Applicants are encouraged to liaise directly with the nominated agencies for further information regarding the application process or to visit the National Employment Agency (NEA) website at www.neaims.go.ke.
